Run the numbers of a payments company
About This Role
Money moves through Tagada in many directions: merchant payouts, reserves, processor fees, partner commissions, across several entities and currencies. You make sure every one of those flows is recorded, reconciled and explained.
You work directly with the CFO. The tooling is already in place and largely automated; the role is to own it, close the books on time, and catch what the automation does not.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the monthly close and the management reporting
- Reconcile processor settlements, bank accounts and the internal ledger
- Prepare and check partner and merchant statements
- Follow cash, reserves and liabilities across entities
- Work with the external accountants on statutory accounts and tax
- Improve the controls around payouts and payments
Required Qualifications
- • 4+ years in finance, accounting or audit
- • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- • At ease with large data sets: advanced spreadsheets, and ideally SQL
- • Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting
- • Fluent English
Nice to Have
- • Experience at a payment company, a marketplace or a fintech
- • Knowledge of merchant reserves, chargebacks and processor fee structures
- • French

Base Salary
$90,000 - $130,000 per year (USD)
