Full-Stack Developer

Ship product end to end across the CRM, the checkout and the merchant dashboard

Remote
Full-time
$90k - $130k / year + bonus

About This Role

Tagada is one platform for checkout, payments, subscriptions and messaging. You will work across all of it: the screens merchants use every day, the APIs behind them, and the jobs that move money and data in the background.

The team is small and ships to production every day. You own what you build, from the first sketch to the alert that tells you it broke.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build features end to end in TypeScript: React and Next.js on the front, Node services and Postgres behind
  • Design APIs that the dashboard, the SDK and partner integrations all rely on
  • Write the tests and the monitoring that let a small team deploy several times a day
  • Work directly with account managers and support on what merchants actually struggle with
  • Keep performance in check on pages that carry real checkout traffic

Required Qualifications

  • • 4+ years building web products in TypeScript or JavaScript
  • • Solid React, and at ease on the server side (Node, SQL, background jobs)
  • • Comfortable owning a feature alone, from the data model to the UI
  • • Clear written communication: the team is remote and works in writing
  • • A taste for simple solutions and readable code

Nice to Have

  • • Experience with ecommerce, checkout or subscription billing
  • • ClickHouse or another analytics database
  • • Event-driven jobs (Inngest, queues, webhooks at volume)
